Micron Pure Completes Successful Field Tests Against Live Nerve and Blister Stimulants

PERRY, GA. --- Micron Pure successfully destroyed airborne chemical stimulants used as surrogates for sulfur mustard and Soman gas during the inaugural C2FIELD exercise held July 27-30 at Guardian Centers in Perry, Ga.

“This was our first opportunity to test the device in a CWMD/CBRN environment,” said Ben Bush, Micron Pure president. “While we have extensive independent testing against viruses, molds, bacteria and some VOCs, this was our first live operational exercise.

C2FIELD was sponsored by the Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Consortium and ATI and hosted by the one-of-its-kind Guardian Centers facility.

“Working with other industry partners in the detection and evaluation fields,” Bush continued, “and with the amazing subject matter experts from the CWMD Consortium and Guardian Centers, we gained insights and ideas that really accelerated our go-to-market strategy with the military CBRN community.”
