Micron Pure To Commercialize Its Original Patent

ST. LOUIS -The only FDA-approved device proven to eradicate more than 99.99% of airborne pathogens safely while humans are present is now commercially available through its original inventor and developer.

Micron Pure. announced today a definitive agreement to acquire the air purification business previously marketed as CereneAire by CerroZone, a unit of the Marmon Group of Berkshire Hathaway.

Micron Pure will provide service and support to CerroZone’s customers and will commercialize its patented technology globally under the Micron Pure brand. Under CerroZone, Micron Pure has received FDA 510(k) classification and has been independently certified to destroy numerous viruses, bacteria, molds, VOCs, and noxious gases.

Micron Pure is an FDA-cleared 510(k) Class II medical device that represents a breakthrough in air purification technology for any enclosed space. The system uses a revolutionary closed-loop process that harnesses the power of UV-C light and ozone to eliminate airborne pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, molds, odors, and chemical agents – all while people remain safely in the room.

Micron Pure is looking at applications for military and institutional use, including healthcare, space, transportation, agriculture, correctional facilities, and commercial offices.
